Emergency Action Plan for Goss Stadium
Venue Directions:
Goss Stadium is located at 430 SW Langton Place, east of Dixon Recreation Center. The first base dugout can be accessed traveling either east or west on SW Washington Way between SW 26th Street and SW Benton Place. To access from SW Washington Way turn north into the complex at the east side of the Naval Science Armory. Enter through the right field gate. The third base dugout can be accessed by taking SW Washington way north onto Benton Place. Enter through the left field gate located on the northeast corner of the field, directly behind the batting cages. In the case of an emergency during practice activities, a member of the emergency response team will meet EMS on SW Washington way at the Naval Science Armory entrance. During competitions EMS is located on the first base line concourse and will be notified and directed to the scene by a member of the emergency response team.

Emergency Personnel:
- Certified athletic trainer and athletic training student(s) on site for practices and games.
- EMT is on site for games.
Emergency Communication:
- Cell Phone carried by certified athletic trainer.
- Fixed telephone line in press box (541) 737-7475. Must dial 9 to dial out.
- EMT has radio to contact EMS.
Emergency Equipment:
- AED, first aid supplies and splints located in the home clubhouse.
Role of First Responders:
- Establish scene safety and immediate care of the athlete.
- Emergency equipment retrieval, as needed.
- Activate Emergency Medical System (EMS).
- Direct EMS to the scene. An athletic training student or other team personnel will meet EMS at the appropriate entrance and direct them to the scene.
