Emergency Action Plan for McAlexander Fieldhouse
Venue Directions:
McAlexander Fieldhouse is located on Benton Place between SW Jefferson Way and SW Washington Way. McAlexander Fieldhouse can be accessed driving either east or west on SW Washington Way. To access from SW Washington Way turn north Benton Place, McAlexander Fieldhouse will be the second building at on your right. The batting cages in McAlexander Fieldhouse are located on the second floor, and can be accessed through the entrance on the southwest corner of the building. A member of the emergency response team will meet EMS at the southwest corner of McAlexander Fieldhouse and direct them to the scene.

Emergency Personnel:
- Certified athletic trainer and athletic training student(s) on site for practices.
Emergency Communication:
- Cell Phone carried by certified athletic trainer.
- Fixed telephone line located in Goss Stadium pressbox (541) 737-7475.
Emergency Equipment:
- AED, first aid supplies and splints located in the Goss Stadium home clubhouse for baseball, or in the southeast corner of the McAlexander batting cages for softball.
Role of First Responders:
- Establish scene safety and immediate care of the athlete.
- Emergency equipment retrieval, as needed.
- Activate Emergency Medical System (EMS).
- Direct EMS to the scene. An athletic training student or other team personnel will meet EMS at the appropriate entrance and direct them to the scene.
