Registration Open for 2012 Women's Basketball Summer Camps

Corvallis, Ore. – Registration is open for the 2012 Oregon State women’s basketball summer camps, held June 2-July 5. Head coach Scott Rueck, his staff and players will oversee all aspects of the camps.
The camp season opens on June 2-3 with the High School Elite Camp, which is open to girls currently in the 9th-12th grades and that are serious about playing at the college level. The overnight camp will focus on skill work, position instruction, 3-on-3, 5-on-5 and 1-on-1 play, as well as shooting competitions. The cost is $100.
The next camp is the Pee Wee Camp, open to girls entering kindergarten through the second grade from June 20-22. Cost for the day camp is $50 if registered before June 1, $65 after. Pee Wee Camp is an instructional camp designed to promote interest and skill development in the game of basketball. Our goal is to introduce basic fundamentals and provide each child with a fun and positive basketball experience. We want your child to leave camp loving basketball and wanting to learn more.
Girls Hoop Camp will take place June 19-22 for girls entering 3rd-9th grade. The day camp will host activities such as ball handling, passing, shooting, relays, shooting competitions, on-ball defense and 1-on-1, 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 competitions. The cost for this camp is $115 before June 1, $125 after.
Oregon State women’s basketball camps culminate with High School Team Camp from June 25-28 before the Oregon State Team Showcase on July 5, prior to the Oregon City End of the Trail Tournament.
