Football's Frahm, Perry, Collins Named To 2012 Hampshire Honor Society

DALLAS - Former Oregon State football players Kevin Frahm, Cameron Collins and Marcus Perry have been selected as members of the 2012 Hampshire Honor Society, which was announced by the National Football Foundation on Wedneday.
The three are amongst 721 senior football players from all levels of collegiate football who maintained a 3.2 grade point average or better throughout their tenures at their respective universities.
Nine of the 12 schools from the Pac-12 Conference are represented and Oregon State's three student-athletes honored are tied with Colorado and California for the most in the league.
Collins, who graduated in December with a degree in business finance, became only the ninth student-athlete in league history to be named to the Pac-12 All-Academic First Team four times and was the second Beaver joining former cornerback Dennis Weathersby (1999-2002). The co-team captain also earned Capital One Academic All-District honors.
Frahm, who also graduated in December, was a first-team all-academic selection as well this past season while Perry was named as a honorable mention selection. Frahm was an honorable mention choice as a sophomore. For Perry, it was his third academic distinction.
