Fan Fest Update (April 25) -- at Reser Stadium
April 25, 2012
Corvallis, Ore. -
This Saturday (April 28) marks the finale of the spring football practice session and Oregon State University Athletics invites you to celebrate the anticipation of the exciting 2012 season with Fan Fest at Reser Stadium, presented by Azumano Travel. All activities and events are free.
This year’s team possesses among the most returning starters in the league, including the No. 2 rated senior cornerback in the nation per ESPN (Jordan Poyer), potential record setting quarterback (Sean Mannion), a pair of defensive ends who have already earned All-America honors (Dylan Wynn and Scott Crichton) and arguably the deepest receiving corps in OSU history.
The excitement begins with Fan Fair at Parker Plaza at 10 a.m. The signature event at Fan Fair will be the annual autograph session with the entire Beaver football team from 10-11 a.m. at the main concourse of Reser Stadium. While you’re at Parker Plaza pick up your 2012 football poster and schedule card, and sign-up for Tail Mail for your chance to win season tickets to all OSU ticketed sports (football, men’s and women’s basketball, wrestling, volleyball, baseball and gymnastics) and a $300 Alaska Airlines voucher. New to Parker Plaza this year will be various food vendors from the Corvallis area, including Qdoba, Jimmy John’s, Café Yumm, Roxy Dawgs, Oregon Beef Council, and Pepsi – each providing free samples.
Fans interested in purchasing season tickets for a schedule that features Wisconsin, Oregon, Utah, Arizona State, California, Washington State and Nicholls State are encouraged to meet OSU representatives at the stadium. Ticket personnel will be available in the south endzone ticket office, within Parker Plaza, on the main concourse and in the Club Level of the stadium to answer questions and accept orders for season tickets. A non-refundable deposit of $50 secures your order for the seven-game season. Season tickets are $279, nearly a 30 percent savings over purchasing single game tickets.
The Club Level of Reser Stadium will be open to the public to enjoy games (pool, air hockey, etc), watch the three large screen televisions, enjoy food and beverages, and to get a first glance at the team. There will be representatives within the Club to provide information and the benefits to watching the 2012 season in one of the best atmospheres in college football.
The team will begin workouts at Noon.
