Men's Soccer Wraps Up Spring Schedule With Annual Alumni Game

April 23, 2012
CORVALLIS, Ore. - Following a busy couple of weeks that saw the squad play seven exhibition matches, including one each against the Portland Timbers and Seattle Sounders, the Oregon State men's soccer team will wrap up its spring schedule when it welcomes former Beavers back to campus for its annual alumni game and luncheon this Saturday, April 28.
"We're always excited to have Beaver Soccer alums back on campus," Oregon State head coach Steve Simmons said. "Their program support is vital as we continue to raise the bar. It also gives our current players a unique appreciation of their opportunity to be a student-athlete at Oregon State."
Due to improvements being made to the playing surface at Paul Lorenz Field, the day's festivities will take place at the new intramural fields between 30th and 26th Streets north of Washington Way. Check-in begins at the pavilion at the new IM fields at noon with the game set to start at 1 p.m.
If alumni have not already RSVP'd to their decade point-of-contact, please contact Ashley Theeler, Director of Soccer Operations at ashley.theeler@oregonstate.edu or 360-513-4683.
