Chad Hanke Going For An Olympic Berth Sunday

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Oregon State wrestler Chad Hanke sat out the 2011-12 season in order to prepare for the United States Olympic Trials, which are scheduled to be held this weekend in Iowa City, Iowa.
Hanke, a native of Dayton, Ore., will compete in the heavyweight class of the trials and is scheduled to compete on Sunday.
Fans can find coverage of the trials by visiting nbcolympics.com where a live stream will be available. The NBC Sports Network (channel 32 in the Corvallis region on Comcast) will air the trials from 1-4 p.m. PT on Sunday.
The first-place finisher in each weight class advances to compete in the London Olympics this summer. The second-place finisher is considered an alternate.
