Volleyball Announces 2012 Schedule

Corvallis, Ore. – The Oregon State volleyball program is pleased to release its 2012 schedule with 10 home matches in Gill Coliseum, announced Monday by head coach Taras Liskevych.
The Beavers open up the season with the annual Orange and Black Scrimmage on Friday, Aug. 17, before heading out on the road for their entire non-conference slate.
The team opens at the Kansas State Tournament on August 24-25 before spending back-to-back weekends in Illinois at the Redbird Classic, hosted by Illinois State, from August 31-September 1 and at the Chicago Classic from September 8-9.
A three-match tournament at Cal State Fullerton concludes non-conference play on September 14-15 with always tough Pac-12 play opening with a match against Oregon on Wednesday, Sept. 19 followed by a contest at UCLA on Friday, Sept. 21.
With the new conference schedule changes, Oregon State will only face UCLA and USC once next season with the Trojans coming to Corvallis on Tuesday, Nov. 20 in the second-to-last matchup of the regular season.

Oregon State continues its play this spring at the University of Portland Spring Tournament on Saturday, Apr. 21 at 9:00 a.m., followed by a single match at Oregon on Friday, May 4 at 5:00 p.m. The spring slate concludes with its annual Spring Game on Saturday, May 12 at 7:30 p.m. against Western Washington in conjunction with the Sixth Annual Willamette Classic.
