WILLIAM ABERHART HIGH SCHOOL: A two-sport standout athlete in volleyball and basketball... Lettered three years in volleyball... Was team captain and Most Valuable Player each season... Tallied 643 kills, 204 digs and 83 blocks as a senior... Received the Myrna Empey Award honoring the top volleyball player in Calgary her senior year... Team placed second at the Provincials both her junior and senior seasons... Also played guard/post for the basketball team and lettered in track (high jump, long jump, triple jump, relay)...
