2004: Jason will likely be the starter at left guard...he is one of the strongest players on the roster and has become a member of Trent Greener's, OSU strength and conditioning coach, weightlifting Hall of Fame...he can also play center, giving the coaching staff options on the line.
2003: Jason spent most of the season as the backup at center...he played in eight games, also competing on special teams.
2002: Jason played in five games as a redshirt-freshman...he began his OSU career as a defensive lineman before being moved to the offensive line prior to the '01 season.

PERSONAL: Born in Fountain Valley, California...son of Gerald and Marilyn Edmonds...both parents are teachers...has four sisters, Erin, Shelley, Debi, and Jeni...his grandfather, Hal Simeroth, played football at Oklahoma with the late Oregon State coach Dee Andros...graduated from Norco with a 3.50 cumulative GPA...enjoys surfing, snowboarding, and weightlifting...Jevon Kearse is his favorite athlete...majoring in exercise and sports science.
