PERSONAL—Born 5/19/80 in Ellensburg, WA...son of Joyce and Gary Aronson...has a younger brother, Ian... enjoys playing basketball, video games and listening to music...winning the 1996 AAA State Championship in high school is his top athletic thrill to date...he is in the College of Liberal Arts and is a history major...graduated from Curtis High School with 3.45 GPA.
OSU—(2002—Junior)—Isaac enrolled at Oregon State at the start of winter term on January 7 and participated in winter conditioning...Isaac was able to enroll at OSU after Cal State Northridge gave up football...he was recruited by several Pac-10 schools and wound up selecting Oregon State over Kansas State...opened spring drills listed as the No. 2 offensive right tackle behind Doug Nienhuis...he spent the entire spring as the No. 2 right tackle behind Nienhuis and will report to fall camp in that role...Isaac gives OSU a good one-two punch at right tackle...he recorded weightlifting bests in the winter program of 405 in the back squat, 295 in the bench press, 243 in the power clean and 176 in the push press...his vertical jump mark was 21.5 inches.
CAL STATE NORTHRIDGE, Northridge, CA—Isaac redshirted in 1999 at Cal State Northridge...he selected Cal State Northridge over Stanford, Nevada, Idaho, Portland State, Idaho and Eastern Washington out of high school...he saw action in two games as a redshirt freshman for the Matadors during the 2000 season...started all 11 games for the Matadors as a sophomore during the 2001 season.
