2004: Jake missed spring practice with a knee injury...expected to compete for playing time on the left side of the line, an area of the team that is fairly inexperienced...likely will see playing time at left tackle.
2003: Jake played in two games (Arizona, Stanford) as a reserve right tackle...he competed in spring ball as a left tackle, but injuries slowed his progress.
2002: Pratt played in five games as a redshirt-freshman...started against USC, and saw action vs. Arizona State, Washington, Stanford and Oregon...injuries to starters enabled Jake to see action.

SPRAGUE: SuperPrep Magazine rated him the seventh best player in the state as a senior...Rivals.com ranked him 85th on its national defensive end list...third team all-state and all-region team by the Statesman-Journal...played in the North-South all-star game...on defense he had 140 tackles, including 13 sacks, 18 tackles-for-loss, forced four fumbles, and recovered five...for his last two seasons he accounted for 219 tackles, 21 sacks, 30 tackles for loss...played in six games as a junior due to an injury...earned two letters while playing for head coach Robin Hill...also earned one letter in baseball as a first baseman and track in the discus and 400 meters.
