Volleyball Makes it Six Straight Terms

Corvallis, Ore. – The Oregon State volleyball team has made it six straight terms, leading the department with a 3.55 winter term GPA just below the cumulative 3.56 GPA for the 18 member squad.
Four other teams joined the volleyball team with term GPAs above a 3.00. Women’s soccer finished with a 3.21, women’s crew with a 3.18, women’s cross country and track and men’s soccer tied with a 3.08.
Twenty-three student-athletes earned a perfect 4.00 GPA for the term with four of those boasting 4.00 cumulative GPAs. Eighty student-athletes were named to the University Honor Roll with at least a 3.50 term GPA, while 218 earned Director of Athletics’ Honor Roll accolades with at least a 3.00.
Currently, 205 student-athletes have at least a 3.00 cumulative Oregon State GPA.
Seventeen winter sports student-athletes were named to their respective Pac-10 All-Academic teams over the five teams with women’s swimming garnering a season-high 10 nods.
