Mishawn Cummings Officially a Beaver
April 26, 2011
Oregon State head football coach Mike Riley announced Tuesday that Mishawn (my-shawn) Cummings has signed a financial aid agreement and is expected to be on the Beavers' roster for the 2011 season when camp opens Aug. 8.
Cummings played the 2010 season at Foothill Community College in California. The 5-11, 190-pound cornerback had four interceptions as a true freshman after greyshirting in 2009. He has four years of eligibility to play three seasons.
Cummings attended Valley Christian School in San Jose, Cal. His athletic career was disrupted in high school due to a broken leg as a senior.
Oregon State continues with spring practice Wednesday with the final workout before Saturday's Spring Game at Reser Stadium at 12:15 p.m.
