CORVALLIS -
Construction continues on Oregon State's $2.4 million Boathouse Project. The construction crews broke ground on the new OSU Boathouse began this past November and is scheduled to be completed this summer before the rowing teams return to Corvallis from the summer break.
Over the past several weeks much progress has been made with the exterior walls going up and this week the roof is being sheeted with the boathouse finally beginning to take the shape of the final product.
When Phase I of the Oregon State Boathouse Project is complete, it will include new locker rooms for both the men’s and women’s rowing teams, boat storage for OSU’s smaller shells and a small meeting area.
