Beavers to Race at Lake Natoma Invitational This Weekend

The Oregon State women's rowing team returns to the water at this weekend's third annual Lake Natoma Invitational at the Sacramento State Aquatic Center. Racing is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. with heat racing and concludes Sunday with finals.
"This will be a great regatta to test our fitness against some of the best teams in the country," head coach Emily Ford said. "The field is fabulous - there will definitely be some amazing racing."
The nine team regatta includes four top 10 teams including No. 4 California, No. 5 Stanford, No. 6 Brown and No. 9 Wisconsin. In the morning OSU will line up against crews from California and Notre Dame with the Varsity 4+ starting at 9 a.m., the Second Varsity 8 at 9:30, the Varsity 8 at 10:00 and the Novice 8 racing against Wisconsin, Sacramento State and California's B crew at 10:40.
In the afternoon the Beavers will race against Brown and Wisconsin with the V4+ going at 3:20 p.m., the 2V8 at 3:50 and the V8 at 4:20.
