Track Heads to Mt. SAC Relays and Lewis & Clark Invite.

CORVALLIS, Ore. - The Oregon State women's track team will be competing at the 53rd Annual Mt. SAC Relays (Thrusday and Friday) in Walnut, Calif. as well as the Lewis & Clark Invitational (Saturday) in Portland, Ore.
The group of Olivia Poblacion, Audrey Botti, Natosha Buruse, Hayley Oveson, Laura Carlyle, Abby Chesimet, Jennifer Macias, Marsha Lampi and Kristen Stangel will all be traveling to California this week for the Mt. SAC Relays.
Last year at the event, Sandra Martinez set the school record in the 10,000-meters with a time of 35:27.82. Her time was a personal best by over a minute and a half.
Carlyle is looking to match, or improve on, her Oregon State record time in the 1,500 which she set last spring. She is on a roll this season after breaking the school's indoor 3,000 record and the outdoor 5,000 record at the Stanford Invitational last month.
Another group of runners will compete at the Lewis & Clark Invitational on Saturday. Kristen Oenning will compete in the high jump following the discus throw scheduled for 10 a.m. Casey Masterson is slated to compete in the 3,000 steeplechase in the first track event of the day at 11 a.m. The other track events will be a rolling start from following the steeplechase.
