Beaver Sports Talk has completed its 2010-11 schedule and will resume during the 2011 football season.
OurBeaverNation.com has been launched. It's a dedicated website for the Beaver Athletic Student Fund (BASF) and will aid OSU in its quest to expand Beaver Nation by doubling the athletic department's donor base to 12,000 by 2012.
Beavers All-Access airs every week on Wednesday on ROOT SPORTS - check your local listings for dates and times. The show will re-air throughout the week and also airs on the Fox College Sports network. This week's initial airing on ROOT SPORTS is scheduled for Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
The cable home of Oregon State Athletics, FSN Northwest, was officially rebranded as ROOT SPORTS on April 1. No changes to the lineup on cable and satellite systems have occurred (on Comcast in Oregon it can be found on channels 34 and 734).
Baseball announced four Pac-10 games will be broadcast this season on KEZI 9.2/ROOT SPORTS. The remaining games are: April 23 vs. Washington State (2:05 p.m.), May 7 vs. California (1:05 p.m.) and May 21 vs. USC (2:05 p.m.).
There were nearly 47,000 hits on osubeavers.com last week; that's more than a 15 percent-increase from the week before.
Check out the newest addition to Beaver Nation Online (osubeavers.com) and YouTube: Oregon State Baseball, Wrestling and Men's Rowing Webisodes. These are "behind-the-scenes" look at the various teams and will be posted on a regular basis throughout the season. IN THE COMMUNITY
More than $1,000 was raised in the second annual Digging for Dylan for the Sparrow Clubs on Saturday evening in legendary Gill Coliseum with the Oregon State volleyball team prevailing once again over the Oregon State football team. Dylan Cain is a local 5-year-old boy who suffers from Cerebral Palsy. The volleyball team under the direction of head coach Taras Liskevych, has volunteered their time throughout the past few seasons on several fundraising events for Cain.
Oregon State Athletics is pleased to announce that the Eighth Annual "The Other Side," now known as "Beavers Got Talent" will be held Tuesday night at La Sells Stewart Center at 7:00 pm. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for the silent auction. General admission tickets are $5, students with ID are $2 and children under the age of 12 are free. Tickets are sold only at the door. Additional donations will be accepted.

IN THE CLASSROOM
This week's everyday champion is Women's Golf's Whitney French. A native of Laguna Niguel, Calif., she is majoring in business with a contemplated profession sports marketing.
Men's Basketball's Kevin McShane and Swimming's Jenni Dole attended the Pac-10 SAAC meetings in San Francisco over the past weekend. McShane was elected as co-chair for the Pac-10 SAAC meeting for Spring 2012. He will co-chair with Eric Price of the Pac-10.
ON THE FIELD
Gymnastics competes at the NCAA Championships this week, April 15-17. The Beavers are second seed in the evening session on Friday, the 15th, and are the fourth seed overall. The championship meet will be aired on CBS via tape delay. A live stats and a live webcast of the entire championship is available at ncaa.com. Fans can follow the action via Twitter @OregonStateGym.
Baseball is ranked ninth this week, its highest mark this season, and travels to face No. 17 Stanford in California starting Friday.
Baseball's Ryan Dunn is the Pac-10 Player of the Week for the first time in his career. The junior paced the Beavers to a series sweep of Arizona State by going 6-for-11 with three doubles, a home run and six RBI over the three games.
Baseball is coming off a sweep of then-No. 5 Arizona State and has a six-game win streak, the longest active in the Pac-10. The sweep was the Beavers' first over ASU since 1966 and the team's first-ever in Corvallis. It marked the first-time since 1999 that Arizona State had been swept by a Pac-10 opponent.
Football will scrimmage at 4 p.m. Friday, most likely in Reser Stadium.
Softball heads to the Bay Area for four games. The Beavers square off against Santa Clara Thursday beginning a three-game series with Stanford on Friday.
Softball beat then-No. 5 Arizona Friday night by a score of 3-1 for its first Pac-10 Conference win of the season. It is the first time the Beavers have beaten Arizona since the 2005 season and the first time they have beat a ranked opponent this season.
Women's Golf is at the Pac-10 Championships in Tempe, Ariz., beginning Sunday. It is a three-day event.
Track has a busy weekend ahead. The Beavers will be at the Mt. Sac Relays in Walnut, Calif., for three days as well as the Lewis & Clark Invitational in Portland for one.
Laura Carlyle, Taylor Nowlin, Abby Chesimet and Erin Jones all won their events last Friday night at the John Knight Twilight meet in Monmouth, Ore. Carlyle's time of 2:09.25 in the 800-meters is third all-time at Oregon State. Nowlin, running in her first ever steeplechase event, ran a time of 11:10.07, which is fifth best at Oregon State.
No. 16 Men's Rowing is on the water again this Saturday, April 16 at the Stanford Invitational at Redwood Shores, Calif.
Women's Rowing is back in action at the Lake Natoma Invitational this weekend, April 16-17, at Sacramento, Calif.
Both soccer teams have out-of-season games. The Women's Soccer team hosts both Washington State and Portland State while the Men's Soccer team heads up to Portland to take on the Pilots.
In front of a standing-room-only crowd, the Oregon State men's soccer team played with a great deal of passion and energy in a hard-fought 1-0 loss to the Portland Timbers of Major League Soccer on Saturday night at Paul Lorenz Field. The Beavers battled to a 0-0 tie at halftime before the Timbers, who have been a professional franchise since 1975, scored in the 62nd minute. The capacity crowd gave the Beavers a standing-ovation at the end of the match and Oregon State coaches and players showed their appreciation to their opponent from the MLS for the great opportunity.
