The Oregon weather can be a hard adjustment for some, especially when making the transition from Arizona, but junior college transfer Rusty Fernando isn’t letting the rain soak his outlook on the coming football season. He credits his mom and uncle for leading him in the right direction and helping him get where he is today -- and the family atmosphere of the team here was something that caught his attention. The hard work mentality was another one of the things that drew him to the Oregon State football program and he’s ready to work hard and fight for time on the field next season.
