PERSONAL--Daughter of Larry and Joanne Arnold...both of her parents are self-employed...she has one older brother, Troy, 24...Tammy was on the honor roll at Oregon City High School and graduated with a 3.5 GPA...she is in the College of Liberal Arts and is a liberal studies major.

(1998-99--Junior)--Tammy completed the 1998-99 season as OSU’s fourth-leading scorer (7.1 ppg) and rebounder (4.4)...ranked third in assists (40) and tied for fifth in steals (25)...shot .377 from the field, .180 from 3-point range and .575 from the foul line...in 18 Pac-10 games, Tammy averaged 5.5 points a game (sixth on team) and 3.3 rebounds...shot .371 from the field, .185 from 3-point range and .524 from the free throw line...scored 193 points on the season and 99 in Pac-10 games...Tammy set out 1997-98 after transferring from Connecticut...she got her OSU career off to a bang with 16 points and 8 rebounds against San Diego State (11/17) in the season opener...Tammy had an outstanding tournament for OSU in the Gazette-Times Classic and was named to the all-tourney team and was the MVP of the tourney after posting her first OSU career double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds in the championship game against UC Irvine (11/28)...Tammy had two solid road games at Montana (12/3) and Idaho State (12/5), combining for 25 points, 14 rebounds, 2 blocked shots and 2 steals...completed the nine preseason games as OSU’s leading scorer and scored in double figures in five of nine games...she opened the Pac-10 season by scoring 13 points against Stanford (1/2), but followed the Cardinal game with only 3 points vs. California (1/4)...on a road trip to UCLA (1/8) and USC (1/10), she scored only 4 and 3 points, respectively, and also suffered a severe thigh bruise in the final minute of the USC game, an injury which limited her play for the next month...she started the first 13 games of the season and after being injury against USC, Tammy did not start another game, although she did play in all 27 games...she came off the bench the following week at home against Washington State (1/15) to post her highest scoring and rebounding game of the Pac-10 season, 15 points and 8 rebounds...she was held to 4 points and 3 rebounds against Washington (1/17)...was held scoreless in 13 minutes of action at Arizona State (1/21) and bounced back with 8 points at Arizona (1/23) in 14 minutes of playing time...was held scoreless at Oregon (1/29), while playing 8 minutes...scored 2 points vs. USC (2/4) and 8 vs. UCLA (2/6) at Gill Coliseum...tallied 7 points in two games on the road at Washington (2/11) and WSU (2/13)...scored only 29 points in an eight-game stretch after tallying 15 vs. WSU...had her two best Pac-10 games back-to-back at home against Arizona (2/19) with 14 points and 6 rebounds and 11 points vs. ASU (2/21), for her first back-to-back double figure scoring games preseason road games at Idaho State and Portland...completed the season with 4 points vs. Oregon (2/26) and scored only 3 points total at California (3/4) and Stanford (2/6), while playing a total of 11 minutes...finished third on the team in minutes played with 22.3 per game average...scored in double figures in nine of 27 games...posted career highs of 17 points at Idaho State (12/5); 12 rebounds vs. UC-Irvine (11/28); 5 assists vs. Eastern Washington (11/27); 4 steals vs. UC-Irvine (11/28); and 3 blocked shots at Portland State (12/18)...(SEASON HONORS)--Tammy was named to the Corvallis Gazette-Times Classic all-tournament team and was also named MVP of the tournament.
(1997-98--(Redshirt Junior)--Tammy redshirted during the 1997-98 season as a result of transferring to OSU from the University of Connecticut...she will have two more years of eligibility, starting with the 1998-99 season...in two years at Connecticut, she scored 197 points (3.4 avg.) and pulled down 109 rebounds (1.9 avg.) in 58 games...
UNIVERSITY OF CONNECTICUT--(1996-97 Sophomore)--Tammy played in 26 games for Connecticut as a reserve her sophomore season...she scored 58 points (2.2 ppg) and collected 24 rebounds (0.9 rpg)...she averaged 5.7 minutes per game...she shot .273 from 3-point range (6-22)...she played in NCAA Tournament first round vs. Lehigh, seeing action for seven minutes with 2 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist...best efforts included 7 points twice, both season highs, vs. Virginia Commonwealth (Dec. 1) and Georgetown (Jan. 3)...her rebound high was 5 vs. Syracuse (Jan. 7)...she shot .355 (22-62) from the field and .471 (8-17) from the foul line for the nationally ranked Huskies, a team that reached the round of final eight in the NCAA Tournament.
(1995-96 Freshman)--Tammy played in 32 games her freshman year at Connecticut as the Huskies (35-0) captured the national championship by downing Tennessee 70-64...Tammy did not play in the national championship game...she averaged 4.3 ppg (seventh best on team) while coming off the bench in her 32 games...she averaged 12.5 minutes per game, the most of any reserve...she scored a career-high 14 points twice (vs. West Virginia and Notre Dame)...she produced a career-high 8 rebounds vs. Villanova, a career-high 5 assists vs. Idaho State and she played in a career-high 23 minutes of action against both Notre Dame and West Virginia.
OREGON CITY HIGH SCHOOL--As a senior, she was one of four finalists for the Naismith High School National Player of the Year award...named to the 1994-95 Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Nike/Lady Foot Locker Girls' High School All-America first team...Parade Magazine first team All-America...Street & Smith first-team All-America...she averaged 22.7 points, 12.0 rebounds and 4 blocked shots per game as a senior at Oregon City High School while playing for Coach Brad Smith...she helped Oregon City attain its No. 1 national ranking in the final USA Today Super 25 national high school poll..she was also named the Gatorade Circle of Champions Northwest Player of the Year and the State of Oregon Player of the Year...Oregon City won the 1995 Oregon Class 4A state championship, its third state title in her four years of play...she was the 1995 Oregon/Washington All-Star game MVP...she was a three-year first team All-State selection...she participated in the Nike/Lady Foot Locker All-Star Game in Altoona, PA on April 15, 1995 scoring nine points...as a junior, Tammy averaged 22 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocked shots per game, leading Oregon City to a 25-1 mark and the State 4A title...in her four-year career, Tammy averaged 24 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocked shots per game...she also was a four-year honor roll student...she was highly recruited out of high school and ranked as the nation's top scholastic post player by the 1994-95 Blue Star Index recruiting service and the No. 6 ranked recruit overall...she was Connecticut's first West Coast recruit.
