OREGON STATE (2002-03): Ashlei is one of seven returning letterwinners.
2001-02:
• Ashlei competed in every tournament, compiling a 77.7 average over 28 rounds to lead the team
• Set a career standard when she shot 70 in the final round of the Duck Invitational to tie the second-
lowest score in school history
• Along with Stacie Ferguson, became the first OSU tandem to break par in the same round since Kathleen Takaishi and Andrea Hehn did so on Nov. 2, 1998. Pendleton and Ferguson carded 70s in the final round of the Duck Invitational
• Best finish was tied for 10th at OSU Shanico Invitational when she shot 223.
2000-01:
• Ashlei made a dramatic impact on the squad when she transferred from TCU over winter break, playing in five tournaments over the spring
• Finished the season with 15 rounds and a 77.5 stroke average - second-best on the team
• Tied for 12th at the Ping/ASU Invitational, where she carded rounds of 72 and 73 en route to a 222
TEXAS CHRISTIAN:
• Ashlei was a member of the team as a freshman in 1999-00, and during the fall of 2000 before transferring to Oregon State
• Played in one tournament

• Four years first-team All-Sunrise Region
• 1996-98 all-state first-team selection
• 1997 & 1998 first-team all-conference
• 1997 Southern Nevada Player of the Year
• 1997 4A individual state champion
• Named NIAA Nevada Athlete of the Week in 1997
• 1996-98 member of 4A Zone and state championship team
PERSONAL: Born October 24, 1980 in Monterey, Calif.... daughter of Sabre and Brent Pendleton... has one sister, Chelsea (14)... majoring in Communications and contemplating a career as a sports agent... enjoys taking pictures of friends, doing scrapbooks, shopping and going to other sporting events... member of Young Life, 1995-99... member of National Charity League, 1995-99... favorite athletes are Fred Couples and Tom Lehman... chose OSU because “it’s in the Pac-10 and because of the strength of schedule”... qualified for and competed in the USGA Women’s Amateur in 1999 and 2000.
