2004: Kellen (KEY-lun) will battle for the second position at left cornerback...a likely special teams contributor...could make a significant impact this season...one of the several excellent student-athletes that OSU has recruited out of the Las Vegas area in recent years...he continues to make the adjustment from offense to defense, after spending most of his prep career on offense.
2003: Kellen missed the 2003 season with a knee injury.

CIMARRON-MEMORIAL: Kellen was a standout running back at a prep school that several former OSU student-athletes have attended...for his three-year varsity career he rushed for 4,887 yards and 43 touchdowns...also passed for three touchdowns on halfback option passes...named the team MVP as a senior after rushing for 1,360 yards on 180 carries (8.6 avg.) and scoring 16 touchdowns...played in seven games as a senior...the Las Vegas Sun named Kellen as the All-Southern Nevada co-MVP...three-time all-division, three-time all-conference, and two-time all-state...as a sophomore he assisted the program to its second straight state title...a SuperPrep Magazine All-American following his sophomore and junior years...played for head coach Gary Maki...also competed in the 100 and 200 meters in track.
PERSONAL: Born in Las Vegas, Nevada...son of Ronnie and Jacqueline Marshall...Ronnie is an engineer and Jacqueline is a library department head...has one brother, Emanuel and one sister, ShaRonti...Emanuel is a track athlete at Cal State-Fullerton...entered OSU with a 3.5 cumulative GPA...hobbies include surfing the net, movies, bowling and television...Warrick Dunn is his favorite athlete...he selected OSU because, "of the coaches, team unit and the Oregon State fans"...general science major.
