(1999-Junior)--Terrence served as one of OSU’s tri-captains during the 1999 season...Terrence entered his junior season as one of the premier defensive backs in the nation, and a definite candidate for All-America honors...Terrence enjoyed a good year, but not a great year as he was hampered with injuries to his foot and shoulder much of the season...he played hurt for most of the season...a fierce competitor, a hard hitter and a player with great football instincts...after playing free safety the past two years, Terrence moved to strong safety midway through spring drills and played the entire season at strong safety...Terrence opened the season as OSU’s high-point producer against Nevada with 32 with 8 tackles and a pass interception...he also produced high-point honors vs. Stanford with 33, coming on 9 tackles and a pass interception...produced double-figure defensive points in 10 of 12 games and finished the season with 232 points, fourth best on the OSU squad....he finished 26th in the Pac-10 in total tackles with 66 during the regular season...Terrence was tied for third in the Pac-10 with two fumbles forced...he had 72 tackles on the season, including 53 solo tackles...he broke up 3 passes and had 3 interceptions...he had 6 tackles and 31 defensive points vs. Hawaii in the O’ahu Bowl...he had a big game in OSU’s victory over California, a game in which the Beavers clinched a winning season...he intercepted a pass against California, plus he broke up 3 passes against the Bears and finished with 22 points...he had 12 tackles in a losing cause against Oregon...Terrence was selected honorable mention All-Pac-10 following the 1999 season...in the weight room, Terrence has produced personal bests of 310 pounds in the hang clean, 325 in the bench press, 475 in the back squat and 245 in the incline lift...has tested for a 32.00 vertical jump and for 5.51 percent body fat.
(1998-Sophomore)--Terrence enjoyed an outstanding rookie season in 1997, but he did not stand on his laurels as he came back with an eye opening performance during the spring, which prompted Mike Riley to say Terrence might have had the best spring of any player on the OSU roster...Terrence completed spring drills firmly entrenched as OSU’s starting free safety...Terrence entered the 1998 season with a good chance to earn some all-star honors in his second season...he is a terrific tackler and has a nose for the football...Terrence played and started nine games in 1998 at free safety...missed the Washington (10/24) and California (10/31) games as a result of a hamstring pull suffered early in the first quarter against Arizona (10/17)...by missing a start in the Washington game, it stopped a streak of 18 straight starts for Terrence...has played and started in all 20 games of his career...Terrence produced 181 defensive points in 1998, including 36 solo tackles, 19 assisted tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 3 passes broken up and a blocked kick...Terrence had 11 defensive points on 3 solo tackles and 2 assists vs. Nevada (9/5)...had 22 points in Baylor (9/12) game with 4 solo tackles, 2 assisted tackles, a tackle for loss and a pass break up...had 21 points at USC (9/19) with 6 solo tackles and a pass break up...produced 19 points at ASU (9/26) with 7 total tackles and a recovered fumble...had 2 solo and 4 assisted tackles at Utah State (10/3)...one of his best games of the year was at Stanford (10/10) where he produced 34 defensive points with 6 solo tackles, 1 assisted tackle, a tackle for loss and a huge blocked kick...Terrence blocked the PAT attempt by Kevin Miller following Stanford’s touchdown in the third quarter...the block kept the game tied at 23-23...in addition, the play became big after OSU scored in the fourth quarter and went ahead 30-23 as it put the Cardinal in a position to go for 2 points if Stanford scored again and wanted to go for a win...after missing two games, Terrence came back with 29 points against UCLA with 7 solo tackles, 3 assisted tackles and a tackle for loss...Terrence played a sensational game against Oregon in the Civil War and had a season high 35 defensive points with 7 solo tackles, 1 assisted tackles, 2 tackles for loss and a pass break up.
(1997-Redshirt Freshman)--Terrence had a fantastic freshman season for OSU at free safety in 1997, starting all 11 games and being named the Beavers’ defensive Rookie of the Year...he wound with 235 defensive points, the fifth best on the Beavers’ defensive unit...he was very consistent the entire season and quickly established himself as a hard-hitter and a player to be reckoned with...had 53 solo tackles, 10 assisted tackles, caused 2 fumbles, recovered 1 fumble, broke up 2 passes, intercepted 2 passes and blocked 2 kicks...was OSU’s top point producer on defense against Arizona when he posted 37 points, coming on 9 solo tackles and a blocked field goal attempt...he blocked a kick against Stanford (PAT attempt)...Terrence caught the eye of Mike Riley's staff during the winter conditioning program and they liked his speed and athleticism...entered spring drills as the No. 2 halfback and he emerged from spring practice as the No. 1 free safety, no small feat when you consider the Beavers have six returning lettermen and five players who have been starters...Terrence will remind viewers a lot of former Beaver star Reggie Tongue, now a member of the Kansas City Chiefs...Terrence is very physical and tackles very well, plus he can play man coverage very well...he looms as a future star if he keeps heading in the direction he has so far in one year at OSU.
(1996-Freshman)--Terrence spent the 1996 season as a redshirt linebacker.
WESTFIELD HIGH SCHOOL, Houston, TX (1993-95)--Terrence played for Coach David Beal and the Westfield High School Mustangs...Terrence was a two-time all-district 21 (5A, large schools) selection at free safety, earning second-team honors as a junior and first team as a senior...Terrence was named Westfield's MVP on defense as a senior and he was a team captain...had 5 pass interceptions as a senior and 6 as a junior...had 56 solo tackles and 35 assisted tackles as a senior, broke up 8 passes and recovered 2 fumbles and blocked a kick...had 35 solo tackles and 19 assisted tackles as a junior...also started at wide receiver on offense and returned punts and kickoffs..."Terrence never left the field," said Coach Beal...led District 21 in kickoff returns as a senior with a 31.3 average (626 yards on 20 returns, including a 93-yard TD return), and he averaged 10.8 on punt returns (130 yards on 12 returns)...in his career, Terrence returned 22 punts for 255 yards (11.6 average) and 38 kickoffs for 968 yards (25.5 average)...also played briefly on offense as a senior and carried the football 14 times for 112 yards (8.0 average) and 1 touchdown and he completed 1 of 2 passes for 32 yards and a touchdown and he caught 15 passes for 159 yards (10.6 average) and 1 touchdown...earned three letters in football and was a two-year starter on offense and defense...caught 14 passes as a wide receiver, which was 10th in his district...three days after the football season ended, Terrence was starting in basketball, where he was averaging 10 points and 14 rebounds a game...also lettered in track as a sprinter and long and triple jumper..."He is a coach on the field.
