SAN LORENZO VALLEY: SuperPrep Magazine selection as a senior after a standout career for head coach Jeff Haagenson...first team All-CIF, first team All-Santa Cruz Coast League, and named to the all-region team by the San Jose Mercury News...team captain and co-MVP as a senior...also competed on the defensive line...San Lorenzo was 13-0 and won the Central Coast Section title in Levitre's junior season...honorable mention all-state and first team all-conference as an offensive lineman as a junior, and second team as a defensive tackle...earned two letters in track throwing the shot put.
PERSONAL: Born in Los Gatos, California...son of Gene and Sheri Levitre...his father is an insurance agent and his mother is a purchasing manager...enters OSU with a 3.45 GPA, including finishing in the top eight percent in the Golden State exam for Algebra...Andy has four brothers, Erick; Travis, Logan, and Ryan...Erick is a sophomore offensive guard for Arizona and is Andy's favorite athlete...top prep athletic thrill was San Lorenzo's 13-0 season...selected OSU because, "It is a great area, a good school, has an awesome football program, and reminds me of home"...intends to major in business.
