2004: Zach reported to Oregon State for spring term ('04) and participated in spring practice...graduated from Lebanon HS in 2003 and did not enroll at OSU until 2004...a tight end prospect...had one catch for five yards in three spring scrimmages.
LEBANON: Zach was rated the seventh best tight end on the West Coast by PacWestFootball after the 2002 season...played running back as a senior for head coach Brad Bauer, rushing for 890 yards on 122 carries (7.3 avg), and nine touchdowns in seven games...was hampered with a leg injury...his best game was against South Eugene his senior year when he rushed for 245 yards on 27 carries...second team All-Midwestern League as a running back as a senior and was selected to play in the Les Schwab Oregon Bowl...PrepStar Magazine all-region team selection...played tight end as a junior, where he earned first team All-Valley League honors...lettered three years in football and basketball and four in track...second team all-league in basketball as a junior and senior.
