2004: Brent is currently second on the depth chart at center...also has played guard for the program...his experience is valuable to a unit that lost three experienced offensive linemen from a year ago to graduation.
2003: Brent played in six games as a backup offensive guard --Sacramento State, New Mexico State, ASU, Arizona, Stanford and USC...entered the year second on the depth chart at center.
2002: Redshirt season...signed a letter of intent with OSU on Dec.19, 2001 during the early signing period and enrolled at the start of winter quarter on Jan. 7...participated in the winter conditioning program.
GLENDALE: Brent earned two letters playing for head coach Joe Kersting...a preseason NJCAA All-American in 2001...as a sophomore he was a first-team Western States Conference selection and a first-team Arizona Community College All-Star...also earned all-conference recognition as a freshman and helped the team to the 2000 NJCAA national title.
PERSONAL: Born in Kingman, Arizona...son of Walt and Jackie Bridges...his father is a rental coordinator and his mother is a secretary...he has one younger sister, Kristina... graduated from Kingman High School with a 3.95 cumulative GPA - ranked 21st in his class of 440 students...enjoys sports cars and four-wheel drive trucks...Howie Long is his favorite athlete... selected OSU because, "the minute I got here I knew it was where I belonged"...majoring in construction engineering.
