OSU--(1999-Junior)--Aaron earned his second letter by playing in one game in 1999, that against Georgia Southern...he entered spring drills as the No. 3 free safety and reported to fall camp as the No. 3 free safety...his role in 1999 was the same as in previous seasons, that of playing as a backup safety and on special teams...Aaron had 5 solo tackles for the winning White team in the final spring game at Hillsboro (5/1)...gives the Beavers a veteran backup player in the secondary with experience at both safety positions...in the weight room, Aaron has produced personal bests of 255 pounds in the hang clean, 265 in the bench press, 395 in the back squat and 230 in the incline...his vertical jump best is 28.50 inches...tested for only 3.95 percent body fat.
(1998-Sophomore)--Aaron entered spring drills listed as No. 3 on the depth chart at free safety, behind Terrence Carroll and Robert Marthaller...concluded spring drills in the same position...Aaron played in 10 games, missing only the Stanford contest, as a backup free safety and on special teams...produced a career-high 42 defensive points on the season, coming on 7 solo tackles, 8 assisted tackles, a pass interception and a pass breakup...his best game of the season was at Washington (10/24) when he stepped in for his first career start, replacing Terrence Carroll who was out with a hamstring pull...in that game, Aaron had 24 defensive points with 4 solo tackles, 2 assisted tackles and a pass interception...had 9 points vs. Nevada (9/5) on 4 tackles and a pass breakup...had 8 points vs. Arizona (10/17) on four tackles and he had an assisted tackle in the Baylor (9/12) game.
(1997-Redshirt Freshman)--Aaron participated in nine games in 1997, virtually all on special teams, with some action at free safety...did not play against Stanford and Arizona State...wound up with 6 defensive points, getting a tackle against Washington and USC...entered spring drills as the No. 2 free safety and he held on to that spot as spring drills concluded...proved to be a very strong tackler and he also covered very well during spring drills.
(1996-Freshman)--Aaron spent the 1996 season as a redshirt defensive back and played very well on the scout team during the year, giving every indication he would have a good future at OSU.
