2008: Expected to be a major contributor as one of the few experienced defensive lineman in the program...did not participate in spring drills while rehabilitating from high left ankle sprain.
2007: Played in every game registering 11 tackles, including three TFLs...Pac-10 Academic Second Team.
2006: Accounted for nine tackles for the season, including a career-high three vs. California...also had a pair of TFLs...played in all 14 games...Pac-10 Academic Honorable Mention.
2005: Pernnell saw action in two games during his redshirt-freshman season...made a pair of tackles against Portland State in the season opener.

BILLINGS WEST: Pernnell was rated as a three-star athlete by Rivals.com and the 59th best overall defensive tackle prospect in the nation...played both offensive guard and defensive tackle for head coach Paul Klaboe...as a senior he had 80 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, 11 batted passes, eight quarterback hurries and five sacks...Big Sky Athletic Journal's Defensive Player of the Year in Montana as a senior in 2003...selected first-team all-state at defensive tackle and offensive guard as a junior...lettered four years in baseball as a pitcher, catcher and first baseman...earned two letters in track in the discus and shot put, and earned three letters as a heavyweight wrestler...finished second in the state as a wrestler as a senior.
