2004: Alvin will compete for starting status or as a top reserve on the defensive line...currently listed second at left defensive tackle, although he had many of the reps during spring practice with Ben Siegert being sidelined with an injury.
2003: Alvin played in all 13 games as a sophomore...made eight tackles, including one sack against Arizona State...played in the Las Vegas Bowl...had one quarterback hurry vs. Washington State and Stanford.
2002: Alvin was a member of the defensive scout team after transferring from Tulane University...he was ineligible for game competition due to NCAA transfer regulations.

HARGRAVE: He attended Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Va., as a senior and played for head coach Mark Dodd...named the team's best lineman in 1999 after accounting for 80 tackles and 13 sacks...had 21 tackles and four sacks in a game vs. Norfolk Academy...a first team all-league and second team all-state selection.
