PERSONAL-Born 5/15/81 in Los Angeles, CA...son of Lee and Patricia Davis...his father is a driver...Lee is in the College of Home Economics and is a human development and family studies major...he has two brothers, Devon, 26 and Jules, 11...and three sisters, Almease, 21, Patricia, 16 and Shauna, 15...enjoys fishing, lifting weights and basketball...favorite athletes are Tony Bosselli and Orlando Pace...getting a chance to play in the Pac-10 Conference has been his biggest athletic thrill to date...he selected OSU because, “academics, playing in the Pac-10, great organization, coaches, facilities, campus, and it is a peaceful place to live.”
OSU—(2002—Senior)—Lee returns for his senior year after starting all 11 games at left tackle in 2001...he was a backup during the 2000 season...Lee opened spring drills as the No. 1 left tackle and maintained that position throughout the spring...during the winter conditioning program, Lee posted weightlifting bests of 370 in the bench press, 265 in the power clean and 303 in the push press...he posted a vertical jump mark of 23.5 inches.
(2001—Junior)—Lee started all 11 games at left tackle for Oregon State during the 2001 season...Lee was listed No. 1 on the depth chart at the all important left tackle position for the start of spring drills and he held that spot the entire spring…Lee had a solid spring to hold on to his No. 1 status at left tackle...he posted impressive numbers in the weight room during winter conditioning…he had a 500-pound lift in the squat and 365 in the bench press…Lee is one of the more athletic players OSU has had on the offensive line in recent years.
(2000--Sophomore)-Lee reported to OSU for the start of fall camp on August 7...he was listed at left tackle on the depth chart...Lee worked his way up the depth chart during fall camp and wound up as the backup left tackle behind Vincent Sandoval…Lee earned a letter by playing in four games, including Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl.
LOS ANGELES HARBOR COLLEGE, Wilmington, CA—Played offensive tackle for Los Angeles Harbor College as a freshman in 1999 and earned second team all-conference (Western States) honors...ranked as one of the top 75 junior college players in the nation by PrepStar Magazine...listed on Max Emfinger’s top 100 Juco players...recorded 51 pancake blocks as a freshman while playing for Coach Wayne Crawford...also played as a backup defensive tackle and had 5 solo tackles, 10 assisted tackles and a tackle for loss...also recruited by Georgia Tech, Virginia, Oregon, Missouri and Texas A&M...ran the 40 in 5.03...rated all-region by Rival Net...he was supposed to sign with Washington in 1999, but he was caught up in the coaching change...one year later, Lee was one of the most sought-after junior college linemen in the nation, according to PrepStar Magazine...“He played for a dreadful team (3-7) but is a pretty solid player,” said Hank Ives, the editor of the JC Gridwire Magazine. “He was not all-conference, but I don’t think it had anything to do with his talent.”...bench press best of 395 pounds.
JUNIPERO SERRA HIGH SCHOOL, Gardena, CA—(1997-99)—Lee played one year of football at Junipero Serra as a senior for Coach Charles Nash and was named the Offensive Lineman of the Year in his league...first-team all-league selection at offensive tackle...named the Offensive Lineman of the Year by the South Bay Daily Breeze...named first team all-league (Del Rey) and first team ALL-CIF in the San Fernando Valley...Lee recorded 62 pancake blocks as a senior offensive tackle...rated as the 16th best offensive lineman in the West region and a prep All-American by SuperPrep Magazine...selected as the 41st best offensive lineman by Student Sports Magazine... also played defensive tackle and recorded 49 solo tackles, 33 assisted tackles, 3 sacks and 15 tackles for loss as a senior...played basketball as a senior as a power forward and averaged 11 points and 12 rebounds per game...played junior varsity football at St. Bernards High School in Playa Del Rey as a sophomore...as a junior, he also attended Junipero Serra, but he did not play football...attended Westchester High School and Junipero Serra High School as a freshman...committed to Washington following his senior year but after a coaching change with the Huskies, Lee had his scholarship offer rescinded.
