BEAVERTON: Eddie lettered and started three years for head coach Bob Boyer...as a senior he earned first team All-Metro League and third team all-state after making 75 tackles...second team all-league as a junior as a linebacker and tight end...for his three-year varsity career he made 176 tackles...OregonPreps.com rated him the third best linebacker in the state...helped his team to a league mark of 16-0 over his final two prep seasons.
PERSONAL: Born in Portland, Oregon...son of Doug and Jayne Stamm...Doug is the director of the Meyer Memorial Trust and Jayne is a consultant...has one sister, Raleigh...Doug played football and wrestled at Menlo College and Stanford...Eddie's grandfather, Edward Stamm, was a three-year letterman at Stanford and helped the Cardinal to a 21-13 1941 Rose Bowl victory over Nebraska...hobbies include playing sports, working out and PlayStation 2...chose OSU because "I love the school and the program"...undecided major.
