Alex Clemsen begins his third year as Director of Operations for the Oregon State wrestling team.
Clemsen comes to Corvallis after an impressive wrestling career at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, where he was an All-American and four-time NCAA qualifier. He was one of 14 wrestlers to ever be named a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Champion in his weight class four times, and was named the Eastern Wrestling League Champion. He ended his career with the ninth most wins in school history. And he was named an Academic All-American twice, graduating with the highest GPA of any wrestler in school history.
At Moberly Senior High School, Clemsen was an All-American, posting two perfect records, winning at the state meet three times and making it to the state finals all four years. He also received Academic All-American honors.
A native of Moberly, Mo., Clemsen graduated in 2007 from Edinboro with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Financial Services and Marketing.
