Reminder: Open tryouts end April 15th!
There is still a chance to become the 2010 Samaritan Advantage All-Star. You or a deserving friend could join Mary Ray of Albany, our 2009 All-Star, on the Samaritan Advantage All-Star team this year. In order to qualify, recruits must be age 65 or older and live in Benton, Linn, or Lincoln County. Selection will be based on exceptional achievement after the age of 65. Here's what it takes to
make the team.
To recognize our All-Star, Samaritan Advantage Health Plan has teamed up with the OSU Beavers Baseball Team to provide a special tribute during the May 30th OSU vs. Arizona game:
- Limo transportation to and from the game.
- Ceremonial first pitch for the All-Star or their designated stand-in
- All-Star trophy and official OSU Beavers hat and jersey will be presented during an on-field ceremony during the game.
- A videoboard tribute will be played in the stadium to announce the All-Star selection and portray their achievements.
- Dinner for the All-Star and three guests following the game.
