Greetings to all former OSU Student-Athletes! We are updating our Alumni Spotlight pieces for our "Everyday Champions" program. Alumni Spotlights are featured on the OSU Athletic Department Website and are submitted to the Gazette-Times (Corvallis, Oregon newspaper) for the Community Pages.
As most of you are aware, we re-branded our NCAA Lifeskills program and added a Leadership Institute which offers a rich menu of opportunities for students to create their own networks and dream BIG! We renamed the program "Everyday Champions" and we consider ALL FORMER student-athletes "Everyday Champions" as well. As part of our 12,000 by 2012 campaign, we are asking all former student-athletes to contribute at least $100 to the Beaver Athletic Student Fund as a way to pay a dream forward for a current student-athlete; you are investing in future leaders and current OSU Beaver Student-Athletes like yourselves. We are currently in 8th place with respect to donor numbers in the PAC-10 and we want to get as many people on board to move us into first place; 12,000 donors will do just that!
Your gift to the Beaver Athletic Student Fund may be tax deductible. Under the IRS code, any portion of your gift that results in priority seating is currently 80% tax deductible. Please consult your tax advisor regarding this important information.
