Beavers in the Community
A primary goal of the innovative "everyday champions" program at Oregon State is giving back and making a difference in the community. Student-athletes, coaches and staff for all 17 Beaver sports along with the leadership of take time to volunteer, organize charity events and participate in outreach programs. Community outreach by Oregon State Athletics is part of the four facets of the program develops student-athletes who will succeed in the classroom, in the community/campus, in competition and in life.

During the year Beaver student-athletes log a combined 3,200 hours of community service and touch over 35 youth groups or charitable causes.
