Linda Johnson

Linda Johnson joined the
Before joining the athletic staff, Johnson held academic advising positions within three colleges on campus: Business, Health and Human Performance, and Health and Human Sciences. Within these colleges, she advised a large majority of the students in course selection and timing to earn their undergraduate degree.
While the head advisor for Health and Human Performance, she was chairperson of the Athletic Advisory Committee (1998-2000); a member of the NCAA Certification Steering Committee, chairing academic integrity subcommittee; represented various colleges due to her understanding of many of the OSU programs and majors.
While working towards her bachelor’s degree in physical education, Johnson had a very successful teaching and coaching career. She is a 1985 graduate of California State University-San Bernardino and was a member of the first-ever women’s volleyball team.
