Liberty HS: Played football, basketball, and lacrosse... Received two letters as a forward on the basketball team for coach Tom Marshal... Lettered twice as a tight end in football and once as a midfielder on the lacrosse team.
Personal: Son of Richard Ruby and Katy Collins, both of whom attended Oregon State... Favorite athlete is Dwight Howard... Outside of rowing, Marcus enjoys dirt biking.
