Official Site Receives Facelift. Adds New Store and ?INside? Look
Corvallis, Ore. - The online home of Oregon State Athletics, osubeavers.com, has received a facelift. The redesigned website will provide Beaver fans and recruits an improved and enhanced user experience. Visitors of osubeavers.com will notice a significant change in the user interface, since a cleaner, more contemporary look and feel has been applied throughout the site.(Try refreshing site if new site isn't available for your viewing).
Since 2005, osubeavers.com has undergone two redesigns and as a result of the site has experienced tremendous growth. Approximately 6,000 people (unique users) visit osubeavers.com every day. The site will continue to be powered by .
Two major additions joined the new redesign of osubeavers.com including a new store run by “Beaver Authentics” the innovative new souvenir and merchandising arm of the athletic department. All purchases online and on gameday (Beaver Authentics is now the new onsite vendor for all OSU home games) from will directly support Oregon State Athletics.
The second is a targeted marketing area inside osubeavers.com for “INside” pages which will house creative videos, articles and links to life in Corvallis and on campus. The pages will include all 17 sports at Oregon State and will be located in the top menu bar on osubeavers.com. This exclusive minisite will be available to the public on Tuesday, June 10.
The site will continue to offer news, live and on-demand video and audio content through Beaver Nation Online, free e-news from and an opportunity to buy . Fans will also have an easy way to to the Beaver Athletic Student Fund, see schedules, find broadcast information, check latest scores and tickets.
“Our site is an important communication tool to reach our loyal donors and potential recruits,” said Mark Massari, Senior Associate Athletic Director of External Affairs. “We want to provide an easy opportunity to buy tickets, watch a replay of our television show, or grab merchandise from Beaver Authentics. We are also dedicated to promoting our hallmark values as a driven, passionate, and hardworking program. Our site will now do all this more than ever.”
