ARCADIA: Eric was a two-year starter at fullback and started one year at linebacker...All-San Gabriel Valley League on defense as a senior and All-Pacific League on offense and defense as a senior...also lettered in baseball one year.

PERSONAL: Born in Arcadia, California...son of Jim and Sandy Rider...has three siblings...chose OSU because “I visited the campus and loved the people and scenery”...majoring in business.
