Castro Masaniai
2008: Masaniai (Mah-sahn-ee-I) entered OSU in January and is considered a greyshirt...likely a scout team member in his first season in the program.
WAIPAHU: Castro was a first team all-league selection as a senior as an offensive lineman and second team as a defensive lineman...honorable mention all-state...helped Waipahu win its first league title in 35 years and advance to the state semifinals for the first time...also a basketball and track standout... part of the school’s leadership council...Waipahu assistant coach Packy Ena played at OSU from 1993-94.
