McQUEEN: Three-year letterman and two-year starter at McQueen High School in Reno graduating in spring of 2007...team captain in football, basketball and track...first team all-state cornerback/free safety...first team High Desert League on defense and offense (WR), earning Defensive Player of the Year honors as a senior...Northern Nevada Region top student-athlete...competed in the 100 meters, 4x100 relay and long jump.
PERSONAL: Born in San Diego...son of Carl and Lisa LaGrone...has four brothers, Carl Jr., Marcell, Matthew and Michael...Carl Jr. was a four-year letterman linebacker at Nevada, Marcell was a two-year letterman defensive back at Idaho State and Matthew is currently a forward on the Nevada basketball team...member of the National Honor Society...chose OSU because “the character of the players and coaches gives you a family feeling”...undecided major.
