MT. UNION: Attended the Alliance, Ohio school and was a member of the team, but did not play as a true-freshman.

LAKOTA EAST: Attended Lakota East with current Beaver receiver Casey Kjos...lettered as a receiver in 2005 when he made 13 receptions for 190 yards and three touchdowns – also had five carries for 60 yards.

PERSONAL: Born in Cincinnati, Ohio...son of Tim and Laura McGarity...has one sister...majoring in exercise and sport science with aspirations of being a strength and conditioning coach.
