KAHUKU: Jeremy was the first offensive lineman in the history of the state of Hawai’i to be named its Offensive Player of the Year linebacker Walker Vave, who joined the team in January of 2007, was the state’s defensive player of the year the same season...lettered on the varsity team three years for head coach Siuaki Livai...led Kahuku to a pair of state titles...also played basketball.
PERSONAL: Jeremy is the son of George and Sherry Perry...George is in the golf management profession...has one sister, Lolanda, and one brother, George, Jr...chose OSU because of the “academic and football opportunities”...participated in the 2008 OSU Learning Through Excellence Spring Break program studying Native American Issues in Rural Oregon Communities, interacting five days with the Confederated Tribes of the Grande Ronde...majoring in liberal studies and will graduate in December.
