Thanks for voting for the Male and Female Performances of the Year. We've had over 1,000 responses so far and we need your continued input for this year's The Bennys Awards.

We are now asking for your help in picking the Male Athlete of the Year. Here are your candidates:

* Roy Schuening. A school record 50-consecutive starts...All-American...drafted by St. Louis Rams.

* James Allenby. School record for golf scoring...6 top-10 finishes...Washington Invitational medalist.

* Ryan Ortiz. Among Pac-10 leaders for batting avg...three grand slams, including game-winner vs. UCLA.

* Yvenson Bernard. Offensive MVP of Emerald Bowl...sixth all-time career rusher in Pac-10.

* Kyle Bressler. Participated in NCAA Tournament for second straight year...Pac-10 champion at 197 pounds.

* Alexis Serna. Second all-time leading scorer in Pac-10 history...conference record 144 consecutive extra points.

The 10^th annual The Bennys is June 3, 2008 at the LaSells Stewart Center. The awards ceremony is open to the public and fans are encouraged to attend the free event (first-come first-serve and subject to availability. Click to RSVP). Awards ceremony begins at 7 p.m.

Since 1998 the OSU Department of Athletics has celebrated the amazing accomplishments of Oregon State student-athletes at this end-of-the-year celebration and awards ceremony.
