FSN Northwest, Senior Day Highlight Baseball Series Against Pacific

CORVALLIS, Ore. The Oregon State baseball team’s game with Pacific Saturday will air on FSN Northwest, highlighting the Beavers’ three-game series with the Tigers that begins Friday at Goss Stadium.
The televised game marks the fourth time this season Oregon State will appear on TV, which is the most among all Pacific-10 Conference teams. Oregon State defeated Georgia at PGE Park on FSN Northwest, lost to Washington nearly a month later and then defeated Arizona on FSN in April.
Saturday’s game is slated to start at 2 p.m. Todd Mansfield will serve as the play-by-play voice for the game while former OSU great Jim Wilson will do color.
Because the game will air live on FSN Northwest, there will be no webcast of the game available on Beaver Nation Online (). Full audio, however, will be available.
On Sunday, in the team’s final regular season game, the Beavers will honor their nine seniors on Senior Day. The 1 p.m. PT start will be preceeded by the ceremony, which will honor pitchers Mike Stutes and Reed Brown, catcher Erik Ammon, infielders Lonnie Lechelt, Jordan Lennerton and Drew George and outfielders Braden Wells, Chris Hopkins and Daniel Robertson.
Casey Priseman, an undergraduate assistant coach, and Peter Hughes, one of the team’s managers, will also be honored in the ceremony.
Outfield general admission seats are still available to all three games of the series and cost $10. Tickets can be purchased by visiting , calling 1-800-GOBEAVS or visiting the legendary Gill Coliseum ticket office. Fans can also pick up tickets on the day of the game at Goss Stadium. The ticket office at the stadium opens two-and-a-half hours before first pitch.
The series against Pacific starts Friday night at 5 p.m. PT. Fans can catch the game live on the Beaver Sports Network, Beaver Nation Online () and Yahoo! Sports with Mike Parker calling all the action.
