Last Game
Daniel Robertson and Drew George both recorded hits in Oregon State’s 10-0 loss to Long Beach State Monday at Blair Field. Taylor Starr worked effectively in relief, throwing a season-high 4 1/3 innings while tying a season-high with five striksouts. He allowed just one run.

Kraig Sitton inherited three runners in Monday’s game and has allowed just 8-of-28 (.286) inherited runners to score this season. His last eight runners inherited have not scored.
TV Saturday

Oregon State will honor nine seniors Sunday prior to the series finale against Pacific. Those seniors are pitchers Mike Stutes and Reed Brown, infielders Lonnie Lechelt, Drew George and Jordan Lennerton, catcher Erik Ammon and outfielders Braden Wells, Chris Hopkins and Daniel Robertson.
Notes Of Importance
Oregon State finished Pac-10 play Sunday against USC with an 11-13 league record. The Beavers are the first team in the conference to finish their slate of league games this season.
Taylor Starr set a season-high with 4 1/3 innings of work Monday against Long Beach State, tying a season-high with five strikeouts.
Starr has allowed just one earned run in his last eight appearances, a stretch that has included 11 innings. He has allowed just eight hits as well.
Through 18 home dates this season, the Beavers have averaged 1,895 fans per game. To top 2,000 on the year, OSU will need to average 2,625 fans per game this weekend.
The Beavers averaged 2,227 fans per road game and 2,105 fans per neutral-site contest this season.
