Message from Craig Robinson

Wow! What a whirlwind April has been. I am truly excited to rebuild this historic program, in this legendary place. I'm confident you will be excited about the effort you see on the court, the style of basketball we play and the young men who choose to come to Corvallis..
I wanted to thank you for signing up for the campaign. I am extremely impressed by the dedication of Beaver Nation.
You may not have known this but my playing days ended right here in Gill. My former team-Princeton lost in the second round of the 1983 NCAA tournament, but what I witnessed first hand, the crowd, the atomphere, the deep basketball roots at OSU, never left my memory. I also saw the famed "Orange Express" in person in the Far West Classic. Steve Johnson, Charlie Sitton, Lester Conner. Those guys we're bigger than life, even back then. It's now time to get that feeling back. I’m asking you to make the commitment of putting down a deposit for 2008-09 season tickets today. We will need your passion in the stands for every home game we play in legendary Gill Coliseum.
Our ticket office is now taking a $50 per seat deposit for next year. If you’re already a season ticket holder, thank you. Your support is why Oregon State is so special. But I’ll ask you to actively recruit new season ticket holders to get on board. A wait-and-see approach won’t get this done. The time to rally this legend is now. Committment to new season tickets is the start we need.
Thank you for bleeding orange and black. Thank you for signing up to Rally The Legend. And thank you for committing to take the first step with me. Below is information on how this can happen.
Sincerely
Craig Robinson
