2008 Diamond Dinner

The 2008 Diamond Dinner that took place at the OSU Alumni Center on February 1^st was a great success. The event was sold out and the 400 Beaver Baseball supporters in attendance were treated to a great evening of food, fun and memorabilia. Coach Casey introduced the 2008 Team, many of who were dressed in Tuxedo’s and served the tables. In addition, the Diamond Aces were in attendance and helped in the success of the event. Mark your calendars, next year’s 2009 Diamond Dinner will be on Friday, January 30^th.

2008 Golf Tournament

The Annual Dugout Club golf tournament is scheduled for Friday, June 27^th, at Trysting Tree. This is the major fund raiser that the Dugout Club has each year for the Baseball Team. Come out and enjoy a great day of golf, see and hear from Coach Casey and his staff, have a delicious steak dinner and have a chance to purchase many popular OSU Baseball memorabilia through either the silent or oral auction. Applications are now being accepted (link below), early registration is encouraged for this popular event.

Dugout Club Membership

If you haven’t already joined, please consider doing so. Applications for 2008 membership are available (link below). 2008 membership is currently at 200 plus, and growing. Your membership is greatly appreciated and we hope is of value to you, in return. Membership gets you a Dugout Club tee-shirt, OSU Baseball Media Guide and car sticker, in addition to monthly newsletters via email and free BBQ’s during the season. Your membership helps support the baseball team in various aspects, including the Goss Stadium expansion. Because of many recent generous donations to the Dugout Club, the Board of Directors recently pledged $150,000 over 5 years (2007 – 2011) to help in the funding of the expansion. Your support is most appreciative!
