Allenby, who is having one of the best years in Oregon State golf history, is the first Beaver to earn all-conference honors since Anthony Arvidson did it in 2001.

Allenby finished tied for eighth place overall and shot a 285 (68-71-73-73) and is on pace to break the Oregon State single season scoring average record, which he set last year. “He [Velasquez] looked at me and said, I like nine,’” Watts said. “I told him that I did too and he hit a great shot and it hit the green and it looked like it was going in. I must have said that four times while it was rolling. It was his first ace ever and it was great for it to come in competition at the Pac-10 Championship.”
Velasquez finished tied for 11th place with a 2-over 286 (71-71-74-69) and had the best final round out of any Oregon State player.
and both finished at 13-over at 297. and finished 15- and 25-over, respectively.
The Beavers will learn their post-season fate as the team awaits the NCAA West Regional selections, to be made on Monday, May 5.
