Beavers, Pilots Rained Out Wednesday

CORVALLIS, Ore. The Oregon State baseball team’s game with Portland Wednesday has been postponed due to inclement weather in the Corvallis area. No makeup date for the game has been announced.
The Beavers next play Friday when opening a three-game series against Arizona at Goss Stadium. First pitch Friday is scheduled for 5 p.m. On Saturday, the teams will play in front of a national audience on FSN in a game that begins at 2 p.m. That game can also be heard live nationwide on XM Radio, channel 193, as the Pac-10 Game of the Week.
Sunday’s game will start at 1 p.m.
Fans can also catch the games live by tuning into the Beaver Sports Network, Beaver Nation Online () or Yahoo! Sports. Mike Parker will be behind the mic for the weekend. Please note that because of the FSN telecast on Saturday, a webcast of that day’s game will not be available on Beaver Nation Online.
Tickets to Friday’s and Sunday’s game are available by calling 1-800-GOBEAVS, visiting or the legendary Gill Coliseum ticket office. Tickets can also be picked up by visiting the Goss Stadium ticket booth on the day of the game; it opens two-and-a-half hours before first pitch. Saturday’s game is sold out.
